As previously stated, Gis is a service that is based on Lizmap. Hence, being it an opensource, anyone can install and configure it on their PC or server. Having used Lizmap within the company for many years, we know that setting up and maintaining a production environment can be difficult and costly. We have therefore decided to offer our customers a professional, transparent and ready to use service. We want you to be up and running in the shortest possible time, saving on management costs.

Depending on the service chosen, the guaranteed uptime is:

- BASIC: 98%
- STANDARD: 99%
- PRO: 99.99%

The uptime only applies to the availability of the Gis web interface. Any scheduled maintenance is excluded.

Our services are GDPR compliant but we know that often this is not enough, so we decided to go further. Gis uses operating system level data encryption on disks. Each basic user must use a 16-character password. The hard disks used are all duplicated with RAID technology and - depending on the type of subscription - they are also subject to different Snapshots and Backup plans.

PostgresSQL databases are on a high-availability, professional shared cluster platform. They are also encrypted and backed up on an hourly basis. Furthermore, databases and related data schemes are accessible both through QGIS clients and PgAdmin with dedicated DNS.

The Lizmap application, managed by you, has neither user limits nor publication limits for your projects.

My Teams has partners on the European territory such as IBM and Aruba Business, where it has developed its Cloud technology. Gis and its data reside on servers in the European territory. However, on request, we can locate data in specific countries, for example for some customers, we have configured and installed Gis systems limited to the Italian territory.

For customers who choose the BASIC option, we give the possibility to have an easy targeting on our servers like: yourname-gis.myteams.cloud protected by SSL pro certificate owned by MyTeams, while for STANDARD and PRO customers, we will create a dedicated domain protected by SSL pro and registered in the name of the customer, like: gis.companyname.domain. If the customer already has a domain in its name and/or an SSL pro, simply provide us with the details and we will support it.
